at the museum from June 2, 2017 to February 28, 2018
Tomb slabs and pottery from the 4th century BC will be on display. They illustrate the funerary rituals of the local elite in all its forms, from the most obvious (funerary processions with mourners and games held in honour of the deceased) to the more concealed allusions to the world of the afterlife.
Open every day, during the opening hours of the museum
Cost of the exhibiton € 1.00 per person (the cost of the exhibition is additional to the entrance ticket or Paestum MIA membership)
